Celebrating Our 2024 Milestones & Exciting Plans for 2025

WORDS FROM OUR CEO

"Reflecting on our journey at DaiTechCorp, I'm filled with pride and optimism. Our commitment to advancing EV charging infrastructure has not only driven our growth but also contributed to a more sustainable future. Together, we've turned challenges into opportunities, and as we look ahead, our dedication to innovation and excellence remains unwavering."

At Dai Technologies Corporation we are thrilled to celebrate the strides we’ve made in 2024. Last year was a year of growth, innovation, and progress—thanks to your support and belief in our mission. Our outlook for 2025 is bright because we are building upon our accomplishments, customer relationships, and our growing expertise.

These are the big steps DaiTechCorp made to move the company and EV charging infrastructure forward:

Our Branding Strategy

Our First Electric fleet vehicle "Ashanti" was all wrapped-up and dressed to impress!

During a typical week, #DaiTechCEO is all over the DMV, meeting customers and connecting with colleagues. Within one year of acquiring the e-fleet car, DaiTechCorp charted nearly 15,000 miles. Few EV drivers knew of our capabilities and leadership in the EV industry. We decided that there are no better places to advertise our end-to-end solutions than on the Capital Beltway and on the streets of the Capital City. One trip into the District or the surrounding suburbs announces to thousands that DaiTechCorp is The Art and Soul of Electric Vehicle Charging.

We Launched Our New Online Store

Team DaiTechCorp made it easier than ever to shop for EV charging solutions.

With our newly revamped website and online store, you can browse, compare, and purchase chargers for your home or business—all from the comfort of your fingertips!

Office Park Installation Expanding EV Charger Installations

Case Study: The year 2024 marked a key milestone—our first-ever EV charger installation in an office park with 300+ parking spaces. DaiTechCorp brought a clean energy solution to a workplace that is situated between two residential neighborhoods, a major state highway, and less than 1 mile away from Interstate 66.

On the Outside, the NoVa site required design and construction of infrastructure for two dual EV charging stations. The electrical upgrades included a transformer, a load center, and capacity to fully charge 4 vehicles simultaneously. We recommended the client install BTC Power charging units that are linked to EV Connect, a top-tier OCPP network.

On the inside, the units were configured to adjust pricing for tenants, public charging, and members of property management team. During Site Administrator’s onboarding session, DaiTechCorp assisted the client with new settings that will maximize the number of end-user connections per day.

The metrics were derived from DaiTechCorp’s Simple Payback Model for the Net Investment:

Net Investment = Total Installation Price less

(Grants + Tax Credits + Rebates).

Based on the incentives available, the estimated payback is less than 4 years for this Fairfax, VA program. If the equivalent of only 6 EV’s are energized at the Business Center per day, the potential CO2/Greenhouse Gas emissions reduction is a whopping 9.5 tons per year!

Demand for Heavy-Ups are More Commonplace

Our @Home and Multifamily services have evolved to meet more complex scopes of work. As electric vehicles become more popular with homeowners and apartment dwellers, DaiTechCorp sees more opportunities to upgrade electrical equipment “upstream” of the charging stations. Some cases are as simple as inserting a new Circuit Breaker into an existing electrical panel.

Believe it or not there are still single-family residences with main electric panels rated for 100 amps or less. These are the site conditions that are ripe for heavy-ups. Also, for a few multifamily buildings, DaiTechCorp has collaborated with electrical engineers who have specified additional switch gears and transformers to increase the electrical service entering the building.

DaiTechCorp will never forget EVCE’s are high voltage installations that demand attention to detail and safety. Some EV charging solutions require Homeowners and Landlords to manage their properties’ electrical loads with subpanels or upgrade their electrical systems with heavy-ups. While the costs for implementing these improvements are significantly greater than adding a new circuit breaker, ensuring the right load capacity is in place - before pulling cables- is the foundation for a safe and reliable EV charging solution.

Our CEO is a Person of Interest

By the conclusion of 2024 #DaiTechCEO, S.E. Ponds found herself on the watch lists of 3 leading Alternative Fuel/Sustainability organizations and Global Foundations. All of them are leaders who support the growth of small businesses.

• Goldman Sachs 10K Small Businesses – Right before the we rang in the New Year DaiTechCorp was selected to participate in the Baltimore Region’s Cohort 23. GS10KSB is an immersive experience focused on business growth.

• Greater Washington Region Clean Cities Coalition – We celebrated Sheryl’s second anniversary as a board member of this auspicious organization.

Securing Our First Federal Government Contract

This exciting milestone reflects the trust placed in our know-how. Securing a consulting engagement with the federal government represents a significant step forward, positioning the firm as a reliable resource who is driving the EV revolution across diverse sectors.

Growing Market Confidence Amid the Federal Administration Transition

Despite uncertainties surrounding the new administration, DaiTechCorp experiences growth in demand for EV chargers within and adjacent to residential dwellings.

This demand creates greater opportunities for our team to do what we do best: design and construct EV charging infrastructure and if necessary, from the utility grid to the connection on the EV charging unit. The steady growth demonstrates the strength of consumer-driven solutions and the shift toward sustainability. DaiTechCorp and our automobile electrification colleagues are just getting started! We are proud to be movers who are directing innovation into the mainstream.

We Traveled to “The D” to See It for Ourselves

The D aka Detroit, Michigan is serious and is not backing away from electric vehicles. During Q3 2024, DaiTechCorp CEO attended the Forth Roadmap and National Association of State Energy Officials conferences. Both were hosted by the Automotive Capital of the World.

Sheryl commented she witnessed first-hand the impact Detroit has and will continue to make on the energy transition. The biggest contributor towards electrified transportation is manufacturing electric vehicles. Detroit made incredible strides to advance the EV industry last year. From the expressway, in the heart of the Motor City, you can see which automotive plants are dedicated to assembling electric vehicles.

Further, Roadmap and the NASEO conferences showcased Michigan’s development of EV technologies and the inroads the State has made to build a robust infrastructure. Our Founder is betting the electrified transportation industry will require its leaders to make frequent pilgrimages to the Motor City, as automakers reestablish America’s dominance in the marketplace.

DaiTechCorp proudly aligns with transformative strategies that will shift the United States towards clean energy and decrease our dependency on fossil fuels. Detroit’s dedication to the EV industry serves as an inspiration for cities across the country, and we’re excited to play our part in shaping the future of transportation.

DaiTechCorp’s Exciting Outlook for 2025

We’ve got BHAG’s (Big Hairy Audacious Goals) on our list for 2025.

1. Developing workforce technology that enables deployment of EV infrastructure without requiring an engineering degree or electrical trade license.

2. We inked an agreement with EV Star to offer a warranty program backed by AIG. Our EV Star warranties are available for new Multifamily installations.

The future looks bright! With the momentum gained in 2024, we’re ready to take on even bigger challenges throughout 2025. From advanced installations to innovative solutions, we’re committed to delivering quality and delighting our customers.

Thank you for being an integral part of our journey. Every mile forward is possible because of you are riding the energy transformation road with us. Together, we’re building a world powered by clean energy, one EV charger at a time.
